SEP has once again been the recipient of "great" press ... this time with a 3/4 page article in the Small Business section of the Toronto Star. The article is titled "Ajax Firm is Searching for Success".
Article writer Paul Brent wrote the article to highlight the success of SEP, but also to bring some of the issues and challenges of such a fast growing company to light. Amongst some of the challenges discussed are attracting, training, and retaining talented employees ... where employees are the heart and soul of the company.
Paul also reached out to SEP client Roger Hamshaw of Fusepoint services to get his take on the importance of the industry, and the performance of SEP. Roger had this to say
"The keywords that people use to go into Google to find my services, and trust me everybody goes to Google, it is well over 80 per cent" of how potential clients find companies in the IT space, he says. "Search Engine People have me on the first page, in the first spot, for five of my top keywords.""
Search Engine People (SEP) CEO Jeff Quipp had this to say in response to questions about the article:
"I am thrilled that Paul chose to write the article about SEP. Its an indication that all our hard work, and our commitment to clients and employees if paying off. He (Paul) hit the nail on the head when he said that our biggest challenge is finding and retaining great people. Hopefully, this article will help to get alot more people thinking about careers in the search space, and in SEP in particular."
