Guest blogging is one of the most effective ways to promote your brand and initiate some viral effect. It is not a new concept; I for one have been guest blogging for years. And that's for my first guest post at SEJ back in 2008 that actually resulted in my public SEO career and my becoming rather a blogger than an SEO.

Becoming a Professional Guest Blogger:
MyBlogGuest community (started by me) where bloggers, content creators, link builders, entrepreneurs can meet to exchange guest posts and build connections. Ideally I'd like it to work this way:
Join by providing your email, username and some social media activity stats (that's for fellow bloggers to see how actively you are able to promote the guest contribution posted at their sites);- Add your tag (which reflect your interests / areas of expertise). Tags make sure you will be found by fellow bloggers in the same niches;
- Add your blogs that accept guest contributions (that's for others to see which sites you would like them to guest blog for);
- Post at forums to announce your willingness to guest blog / accept guest posts;
- Arrange guest posts and help expose them to a wider audience by sharing on social media sites.
