I don't read enough web marketing blogs, but I probably should. Instead, I tend to use the old "try it and see if it works" method, which isn't a bad method, but there's nothing wrong with finding out what works for others as well. HarpzOn.com looks like a fairly new blog from a young man who has a large amount of web marketing experience already under his belt. As the originator of DevArticles (later sold to Devshed) and the co-founder of Interspire, I have to assume Mitchell "Harpz" Harper has a few nuggets of wisdom to share.
The first thing I noticed about the blog content was that Harpz has the killer blog title thing down pat. Since the blog is fairly new, there's not a ton of content to evaluate yet, but I can see that it has the potential for giving me information that I may be able to use. Although he touches on some SEO aspects, I'm not sure I'm going to necessarily agree with him on those points all the time. But I'm not interested in the SEO topics as much as I am in the marketing topics in general. I know SEO. I can get users to a site. I want to know more about how to convert them once they get there. I'm not sure yet how much I'll learn about this from Mr. Harper, but I'm hoping to pick up a tidbit or two in the future that will make a difference in my ROI (without using major hard sell tactics). HarpzOn will be added to my feed reader for now. Only time will tell how long it stays there.
