Next Wednesday, I'm moving to the country. Unfortunately, there'll still be no place for me to move into. So, until my new place is ready and has electricity and water, I'll be staying with my father-in-law. Poor man has no clue what his life will be like with us, the 3 dogs, the cat, and the 2 birds moving in on him. We'll probably be there a couple of weeks while everything gets finished up. (We're moving right next door to him).
I'm looking forward to living on my 3 acres of land with only my father-in-law on one side of us, and a bunch of donkeys on the other side. (Yes, real donkeys). However, I'm not looking forward to the process of the move.
We've been working hard to get all of this to happen, but starting tomorrow, we'll have to go into overdrive. I have a to-do list a mile long of things that have to be done before we can get out of here.
In addition, once we move, I won't have Internet access for who knows how long. Possibly up to a month, as I wait in line for contractors and service people to get things done. (Hurricane Katrina has made these kinds of things nearly impossible to accomplish, as everyone and his brother needs work done). Of course, I'll do my best to find some way to get online, but there are no viable options that I can find in that little rural area.
I tell you all this, not because it matters to you where I live, but because I'll be mostly out of touch for the next week, and likely completely out of touch for the next few weeks after that. I'm sure my inbox will be bursting at the seams by the time I'm online again. I apologize in advance if you try to contact me and you don't hear back from me within a reasonable time.
I will do my best to respond to everyone as soon as I possibly can. In the meantime, keep those SEO fires burning. I'll need to relax by that fire when I'm all done. 🙂
