This is one of a series of posts in which I will be highlighting each member of the Search Bloggers list, with commentary on one of their posts (new or old). Look for this series to continue once or twice a week for the next couple of months.
Meet Melanie Phung, the Search Blogger of the Day. Today I'd like to highlight a post called Insights Into Signal and Noise. In it, Melanie details one of Google's newest services, called Google Insight. Delving into this "data porn" as Melanie calls it, she test drives the service to separate out the signal vs. noise, by checking those very terms, "signal" and "noise". It's a witty way of playing with data, and her conclusion is also interesting. Test driving some of these services can often result in mind-numbing posts that no one really wants to read, so it's refreshing to be able to understand how a tool works without being bored to tears in the process. Check it out.

That's the Search Blogger of the Day. If you are a search blogger, and aren't on the list yet, go here to find out how to be included. I plan to promote everyone on the list in various ways. Some will be informative, and some will be just plain fun. Don't miss out.
