This is one of a series of posts in which I will be highlighting each member of the Search Bloggers list, with commentary on one of their posts (new or old). Look for this series to continue once or twice a week for the next couple of months.
Meet Lucio Dias Ribeiro, the Search Blogger of the Day. Today I'd like to highlight a post entitled How To Use Social Networking For Your Business, and here's the bit that really caught my attention.
On our company we are commonly asked about How to use Social Networks for business.
Our answer is always the same, its all about your needs fitting into the media rather than the media fitting into your business.
Lucio then goes on to give a great example of how social networks helped one small business. Specific situational examples like this really helps all of us not only explain this aspect of marketing to others, but to also spark ideas for our own businesses. If you have other examples, how about sharing them over in the post comments? Let's all benefit from some great ideas.

That's the Search Blogger of the Day. If you are a search blogger, and aren't on the list yet, go here to find out how to be included. I plan to promote everyone on the list in various ways. Some will be informative, and some will be just plain fun. Don't miss out.
It’s amazing how a simple statement can change your entire outlook, or at the very least, spark some serious thoughts and ideas.
These posts are always great. Highlighting people as well as what they’re doing, people I would have never come across.
This is a hard one for a lot of businesses trying. Without the proper guidance it really feels/looks put on. I’d suggest at least consulting with a social news/media specialist when going this route.
Thanks Donna for the profile, great honor to be here!
As a matter of fact this is a mantra we believe at my company, The Online Circle . com
We always look to the client’ side and try to fit their needs.
It’s tactic fitting into strategy rather the other way around.
Anyway, good to be here!
Thanks again and all the best!
