Has the new Google Adwords API caused a new form of hijacking? According to recent reports, keyword hijacking has begun, and the new API might be the reason for it. Apparently, bots are able to shut down an Adwords campaign by artificially inflating the number of times an ad is displayed. This then causes AdWords to automatically disable the targeted keywords. The campaign is effectively shut down by using this tactic.
